Dr Howard Jeffery is an experienced and credentialed Bridge Director and Instructor. He has both American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) and Australian Bridge Federation (ABF) qualifications. On cruises, Howard works with his wife, Liz, who is also a qualified Director and Instructor.

Both Liz and Howard have completed the ABF’s Bridge Teacher Training Program. They are also experienced players with both having achieved Grand Master status and have represented their state in National competitions.

Liz and Howard have provided Bridge Directing and Instructions on a range of shipping lines including Viking, Oceania, Cunard, Royal Caribbean and Princess.

On all cruises bridge teaching involved teaching Beginners and Intermediate lessons. For all lessons, notes are provided and hands are setup in advance to demonstrate the aspect of bridge being taught.

The bridge sessions are run as ACBL or ABF sanctioned games. Masterpoints are awarded where appropriate and submitted to the relevant governing body.
