BIOGRAPHY
Dave is a historian with many years experience, teaching and lecturing in European History. He currently works as a Freelance Lecturer and also as an Educational Consultant. For the 11 years prior to 2016, he was Headmaster of an 11-18 high school in the West Midlands. His work was featured in the British Parliamentary Review of Education of that year. Since 2016, he has devoted his time mainly to his historical interests and lectures to a range of associations and societies. For example he has recently completed a series of lectures for a branch of the Arts Society.

Throughout his career, whatever his audience, Dave has always attempted to engage and inspire. He believes History, like life itself, is full of drama. His talks are designed to be informative and authoritative, but also user-friendly and engaging. Dave’s enthusiasm for his subject has often been described as infectious.
