Music
6. Barn dance/ceilidh: Arnie is a barn dance/ceilidh caller, so here’s a chance for passengers to stretch their legs on cruising days!
7. Homage to the 60s: highlights, facts and figures of this most diverse and inspirational decade: UK V the USA – who won? The Beatles &
The Beach Boys; Mods & Rockers; West Coast Acid Rock, the Phil Spector Sound, and, of course, Motown.
8. From zero to hero: we know them as famous singers or groups – but that wasn’t always the case. Find out the rejections they initially
faced – and overcame – before becoming superstars
9. Motown Moon: an integrated look at two of the dominant issues of the 60s: the growth of Tamla Motown, and the Apollo space
programme – tasked to put a man on the moon before the end of the decade…

Cruising
10. Cruising confidential: some amusing and intriguing facts about cruising – but nothing scary!
11. What lies beneath: the topography of seas and oceans – for example, why some islands are actually higher than Mt Everest
12. Sea Stories: The Mutiny on the Bounty; Rowing Across the Pacific; the Great Voyages of Discovery

Mental Mastery
13. Memory Magic: how to improve your memory using a range of simple but effective techniques
14. Changing Habits: how to get rid of bad ones, and replace with better ones.
15. The power of perception: we can all see the same thing, but interpret it differently. This workshop has several examples to challenge our
confidence in what we see being true – or even real…
16. Why do you do what you do?: how much of your daily actions and decisions are made because you have been unconsciously nudged in
that direction? This workshop will reveal the key techniques used to get you to do what others want you to do…
17. Thinking fast and slow: Daniel Kahneman won a Nobel prize for explaining the difference, and its impact on everyday behaviour and
decision making. So find out about the two types, and which most applies to you…and when…
