Leon reported that you had to change your programme of talks for this cruise and reverted to ancient civilisations which were well received. Thank you for adjusting. I understand the attendance wasn't too great but Leon said how experienced you are and that those who attended did find the talks interesting. Here are some nice guest comments from the post cruise report:
o Vivianne Rowan was excellent.
o LOVE EGYPT very interesting, wish ships were still going there.
o We went to two talks which we enjoyed about Egypt.
o Only the Egypt presentation interested us & that ended in an Elvis Presley talk.
Magic Cruise Lectures
I am just emailing to say how I personally enjoyed your lectures whilst on board the Red Sea Magic Cruise, I have a personal interest in the pharaohs due to my work as a lay preacher with an interest in the Old Testament and also in preparation for visiting key sites in Egypt. I found the lectures covered a wide range of information in a practical way and dealing with local Egyptian culture, also giving an insight and overview into Egyptian history, dynasties and hieroglyphics. I felt (in view of the wide ranging intellectual and age range of the audience) you covered all needs and gave opportunity to ask questions after each lecture and making yourself available to the audience and during the cruise. I appreciated your approachable and helpful style with a passion for the subject.
