Sunita has been practising calligraphy for about 12 years. She is particularly interested in the mindful and relaxing aspects of the craft. This fitted in well with teaching sessions at a Health and Wellbeing day for staff at a Further Education College. She has a distinction in two diplomas with a national society CLAS (Calligraphy and Lettering Arts Society) and is an accredited tutor with them. Sunita has a platinum award for her excellent feedback on the craftcourses platform.

Sunita regularly teaches workshops in her home town of Southampton. This summer Sunita taught at the prestigious Marlborough College Summer. School and has also led several week long calligraphy retreats at retreat houses in Oxfordshire, Worcestershire and Bath.

Sunita is a volunteer with the Winchester Cathedral Scribes and is the main teacher for the workshops for the public. She demonstrates in Winchester Cathedral in their Winchester Bible exhibition area. Sunita has her own online classes and two classes on the Skillshare platform amd teaches live on zoom.
