PRESENTATIONS / WORKSHOPS & CLASSES
DAY 1 SUBJECT - Discuss Program, review watercolour painting tips & explain colour mixing chart. Ensure Art Kits/Paper are made available where needed
COMMENT: I provide A4 size Portfolios (plastic envelopes) for the group to label with their name and keep all their paintings in

DAY 2 SUBJECT - Develop a sketch using 'TRACEDOWN PAPER' This avoids having to do a free hand sketch which I find applies to the majority: those with more experience can copy the reference supplied. Paint the 'TRACEDOWN SKETCH' using the coloured part of the reference
COMMENT: A reference is supplied with the TRACE DOWN PAPER Clipped into a pack ready for the group to start using. For a simple start the references are post card size which I collect in and mount ready to display at the next class.

DAY 3 SUBJECT - Produce a sketch using the 'GRIDDING' method which divides the reference & paper into small squares. Part of the image in each square can be drawn to finally complete sketch.
COMMENT: I provide the grid line template & ruler required. Some freehand drawing is required using this method and is used by many professional artists

DAY 4 SUBJECT - Paint the 'GRIDDING SKETCH;
COMMENT: Erase the pencil lines from the completed painting as required

DAY 5 SUBJECT - Create a 'STAINED GLASS WINDOW' using some references provided or iPhone examples
COMMENT: I provide compasses for semi circular circular designs. Use a Christmas, Religious theme etc

DAY 6 SUBJECT - Paint the 'STAINED GLASS WINDOW'
COMMENT: I provide ink pens to emphasize the leading

DAY 7 SUBJECT - One morning class for those who are finishing off their painting for the afternoon 'TABLETOP EXHIBITION'
COMMENT: All paintings must be handed in in the Portfolios by the end of the joint morning class for the Exhibition. These will be returned to the Portfolios for the painters to collect

THE ABOVE IS FOR 7 SEA DAYS BUT ADDITIONAL SUBJECTS CAN BE ADDED FOR LONGER CRUISE ITINERARIES
