Christine has been delivering a totally immersive, enjoyable art experience for all abilities, disabilities and ages for over six years for various cruise lines, including three full world cruise circumnavigation and numerous grand voyages.

She covers all techniques and mediums (as well as some innovative tips & tricks of her own), demonstrating and painting along with the class. Her speciality is ports of call paintings, itinerary themed, constantly updated with new techniques.

Approachable, friendly and accommodating, she has a following of guests who ask to keep updated of future cruises so they can join her. She also offers post cruise help and advice (and critique) via email.

A professional associate and ambassador for the SAA (the world’s largest online art community) she has recently been asked to join their Partner programme to provide business support for professional artists. Christine is also a member of several art groups including World Masters of Watercolour, Paint the Ocean Studio, Resin Art Community, Alcohol Ink Group, etc.

The majority of my workshops feature Destination paintings (see examples) to give passengers a visual travelogue to take home with them, and an instant and enjoyable reminder of their cruise.

On long cruises with many sea days I also introduce Still Life paintings as well as Wildlife subjects and a session on portrait painting. These allow me to expand the guests’ repertoire of painting skills and techniques to carry forward with them on their return home.

Have 5+ years experience working as art instructor on Cunard, Celebrity, Fred Olsen, P & O, Saga and Viking Ocean cruises.
Specialising in ports of call paintings I have completed 3 full world cruises, 2 grand voyages, and numerous contracts all over the world.
