Julija Greaves is a professional artist and Art Instructor and sculptor working from Sheepbridge Studio in the UK. She is frequently commissioned for her Artwork and enjoys sharing her knowledge with her class participants. She paints in oils, acrylics and watercolour. Many of her paintings are narrative and inspired by world affairs. She is often in demand as an artist for her realistic portraits.

Julija has worked with many cruise lines over the last 12 years as a Watercolor Instructor but often as a Craft Instructor too, which has become very popular and sometimes mixes the two activities to suit the voyage. Destination plays a large part in her inspired preparations for the images used for her classes and the finished activity becomes a memory of the voyage for participating guests. She welcomes beginners and improvers in a light hearted way.

Featuring iconic landmarks and incorporating the famous Artists palettes of the region or country in the images chosen by the participants. These classes are suitable for absolute beginners as well as the developing and more experienced watercolourist.
They are designed to create pictorial memories of the voyages on each cruise itinerary taken whether it is Europe, Caribbean or USA.
Unique Itinerary prepared workshops for each cruise which are flexible in approach.

The Watercolour painting classes for each voyage is centred around the destinations and countries visited. The paintings chosen could be landscape, cityscape or perhaps referenced to an artist who was born in that region.
Wherever the destination is, in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Pacific, Africa, Asia or Northern Europe I have accumulated specific images which can be inspiring for guests and will serve to remind guests of their journey on board in a delightful and informative colourful way.

The colourful Craft classes have been extremely popular for people of all abilities especially on long stretches of sea days. The formula has been tested on guests speaking several different languages and has been successfully followed on numerous sailings. E.g

I have 12 years positive experiences as an Enrichment Arts and Crafts Instructor with multiple cruise lines including Cunard (Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mary, Queen Victoria.) Royal Caribbean ( various) Celebrity (various) Princess Cruises (various) Azamara, MSC cruises (various) Saga cruises to destinations worldwide of durations 2 weeks to 7weeks.
I am a professional artist and teach painting and drawing skills however I also have a passion for Craftwork and traditional handmade novelties often with a distinct reference to the ports of call so that the finished object acts as a memory of the countries visited.
