Julian Dismore is an award winning TV Producer and after dinner speaker. He has directed over forty prime time series for broadcasters worldwide including Discovery, National Geographic, Animal Planet, BBC1, Netflix and Sky and has worked with many TV stars. Julian has travelled the world making hospital, police, sports and observational documentaries and has experienced many incredible adventures on the way. He’s had life endangering encounters with crocodiles, rhinos and king cobras whilst filming prestigious wildlife programmes.

Julian won the Discovery Channel ‘Medical Ethics Award’ in New York for his documentary ‘Skin Deep’ about plastic surgery on children with Down Syndrome. For his programme ‘Defender of the Children’ about sex tourists in the Philippines, Julian went undercover with hidden cameras and microphones. It was an extremely dangerous assignment, but the hard hitting expose succeeded in getting British law changed to make it easier to prosecute paedophiles who commit sex offences abroad. The documentary won an award from Amnesty International.

Julian is also an accomplished public speaker. He gives talks and quizzes about his 33 year career and amazing life experiences making TV. Clients include Cambridge University, the Women’s Institute, LSE, Maastricht University and numerous sports societies. Julian has delivered after dinner speeches to MP’s in the House of Commons as well as on numerous cruises. He has also performed magic tricks to world famous cricketers!

As well as directing programmes, Julian has appeared in front of the camera on BBC1, ITV and Netflix TV programmes as a contributor, actor and even a stuntman. Julian also trains in media skills and has written a best selling book “TV: An Insider’s Guide”. He now lives in Norfolk with his wife Debbie and 17 year old son Danny.
