Jacques is a former Member of Parliament, and during this period he travelled to exotic and sometimes dangerous locations in his role as a Parliamentary Observer of the introduction of democracy in a number of countries in both Latin America and Eastern Europe. Armed with large numbers of photographs of his many travels, and a keen interest in international events, he provides amusing, interesting and informative talks on his many and varied experiences and lifetime of interest in royal genealogy.

Louise has worked in computing for over 40 years in a variety of roles, often working at the forefront of technology. She retired in 2009 after spending 17 years running a successful IT company. On retirement she wanted to help people to get to grips with computers and the internet by teaching adult education classes on the subject. Some years ago Louise also developed an interest in her family history and has been researching it ever since. She has traced her Jersey ancestors back as far as 1600!

Pat was a business woman with her own printing company for many years before taking a teaching degree in Business Management and Computing. Ian was a Government Research Scientist for almost 40 years, specialising in the detection and identification of viruses, primarily of plants and insects. Together, with their love of travel, and Pat's IT education, they enjoy presenting lectures in all aspects of computing skills to passengers on cruise ships.

Roy Short is a retired Senior Manager of Deloitte Consulting who has spent the past thirty years studying and teaching genealogy. Upon retirement from corporate consulting he launched "Short On Time", a Professional Genealogy practice and has conducted seminars and workshops on a wide range of family search topics. Since then, his passion for motion pictures has prompted him to create a portfolio of "Tribute" modules which explore and explain different aspects of movie making, stars and genres. He now spends most of his time entertaining and educating cruise passengers in both Hollywood and Genealogy.
