Caroline Holmes is a garden historian of ancient, modern and contemporary places, people and plants who sifts humour from humus worldwide. She is also an international lecturer in the warmth and comfort of halls and houses as well as leading groups through inspiring sites and gardens. Not forgetting author, broadcaster and consultant designer … in all I delve into the myriad ways people and plants have historically shaped landscapes and what we can learn from them.
Colin Jones

For 35 years Colin worked as a film editor and director wth B.B.C Television specialising in travel and science documentaries. Upon retirement he enrolled at Merrist Woood College in Surrey to study for the R.H.S Diploma in Horticulture. Dusted off his camera and set off to travel the world and photograph it's greatest gardens. He is Chairman of Sanderstead Horticultural Society, a Flower Show judge for Surrey. Colin is also a member of the team that has won three consecutive Gold Medals at the last three Chelsea Flower Shows for auriculars. His talks on Gardening & Horticulture are entertaining, informative and educating.
Sandy Primrose

Sandy Primrose is a biologist by training and has degrees from the University of Strathclyde and the University of California. Sandy’s passion is gardening and the half-acre garden of his house between London and Oxford is filled with unusual trees and shrubs. Over the years he has shown many groups round his garden and when he does so he tells them the stories behind the plants that he grows. These stories, and his experiences in industry, form the basis of his entertaining cruise lectures that cover topics in gardening, uses of plants, plant history and plant conservation.
Graham Sclater

Graham studied at the Phoenix Arts Centre in Exeter, where he concentrated on creative writing for the screen and TV. His key interests are teleplays, and screenplays as well as developing and writing original drama series’ for TV including “Pebble on the beach” set on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, “The Other Side of the Tracks” and “Yesterday man” a psychological thriller. He appears regularly on the BBC and other radio stations around the UK and Europe on specialist music programmes. Graham frequently does book readings around the UK and this has now been extended to delivering Creative Writing Courses to guests on cruise ships.

Ginny Stibolt is a well-traveled biologist, an award-winning garden writer, and an experienced teacher and presenter. Her goal is to is to make her science-based presentations fun and easy to understand and to help fellow travelers better appreciate the flora and fauna of upcoming destinations. She also covers historical crops of destinations. Each presentation is customized for the specific cruise to provide the most relevant information for that itinerary.
Stefan White

Stefan White is a young-at-heart and healthy Englishman, married and recently retired from a successful entrepreneurial business career. Having been appointed Enrichment Speaker by 3 different cruise companies, in 2009 he attended a course organised by The P&R Agency on becoming a Destination and Port Lecturer which he passed with distinction. He has a passion for golf, wine, gardening and travel and, in addition to his Destination and Port talks, he has developed a wide portfolio of varied, amusing and informative Enrichment talks, which he is happy to offer on sea days.
David Winpenny
Architectural & Garden Historian and Writer

David graduated in English at the University of Birmingham and has worked as a teacher and as a campaign co-ordinator and press officer for both central and local government. He now runs his own business as a writer, public relations consultant and lecturer. He is an accredited NADFAS lecturer. His fascination with architectural and garden history has always encompassed the odder and quirkier aspects – his recent book ‘Up to a Point’ is about pyramids from the 17th to the 21st century in Britain and Ireland.
